Two of my children happen to be of the furry kind.  I have a cat and a dog.  Pets are family too, and they miss us when we are gone as much as the rest of the family does.  It's important to make quality time with our pets too.  One of my favorite Sunday routines is to take my dog to the dog park and make a stop by Dairy Queen on the way home.  Yes, my doggy get a cup of ice cream.  My cat likes to play with my feet while I'm reading, or watching TV, or actually while I am anything.  Spending time with your pets is not just good for them, but good for us too.
